Ingredients (Serves 4):
For the Chicken & Pasta
– 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into strips
– 2 cups penne pasta
– 1.5 cups broccoli florets
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
– 0.5 teaspoon paprika
– 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder

For the Creamy Garlic Sauce
– 3 tablespoons butter
– 4 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 cup heavy cream
– 0.5 cup chicken broth
– 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
– 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
– 0.5 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
– Salt, to taste
– Black pepper, to taste

For Garnishing
– Fresh parsley, chopped
– Extra Parmesan cheese

Instructions:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the penne pasta until al dente. During the last couple of minutes, add the broccoli florets to the pot. Drain both together and set aside.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat the olive oil. Season the chicken strips with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Cook the chicken on each side for about 5–6 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt the butter and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant. Stir in the heavy cream and chicken broth, then add the Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and optional red pepper flakes. Let the sauce simmer until it thickens.
Return the pasta, broccoli, and cooked chicken to the skillet. Toss everything together until fully coated in the creamy sauce.
Garnish with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan cheese before serving.

Nutritional and Dietary Information:
This dish is high in protein from the chicken and cheese and contains healthy fats from the olive oil and cream. The broccoli adds fiber, vitamins, and a fresh crunch. If you’re watching your fat intake, substitute the cream with Greek yogurt or a plant-based option. Gluten-free pasta can be used for those with gluten sensitivity. It’s a balanced and satisfying dish when enjoyed in moderation.
