All the grandkids wanted seconds and grandpa ate three of them.

When a dish has everyone going back for seconds (and thirds), you know it’s a keeper. These crispy chicken fritters are golden on the outside, tender on the inside, and bursting with flavor. They make the perfect appetizer, snack, or even a main course. Best of all, they’re quick to make and pair beautifully with just about any dipping sauce.

Crispy Chicken Fritters

Ingredients:

Ingredient Quantity
Leftover shredded chicken or drained canned chicken 25 ounces
Dijon mustard 1 teaspoon
Large egg 1
Dried thyme ⅛ teaspoon
Breadcrumbs ¼ cup
Onion powder ¼ teaspoon
Garlic powder ¼ teaspoon
Salt and black pepper To taste
Oil, for frying (vegetable or olive oil) Enough to cover the bottom of the skillet

Instructions:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, Dijon mustard, egg, breadcrumbs, thyme, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir everything together until the mixture is well combined and holds its shape.

Using your hands, form the mixture into small patties or fritters. Heat a generous layer of oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully place the fritters in the pan. Cook each side for 3–4 minutes, or until they’re golden brown and crispy.

Remove the fritters from the skillet and drain on paper towels if needed. Serve them warm with your favorite dipping sauce. Whether you’re feeding a crowd or just craving something savory and satisfying, these fritters will disappear fast.
