Brown sugar 1/2 cup
Granulated sugar 1/4 cup
Egg, room temperature 1
Vanilla extract 1 tsp

For the Streusel Topping

Ingredient Quantity
All-purpose flour 1/3 cup
Brown sugar 1/3 cup
Cold butter, cubed 1/4 cup
Cinnamon 1 tsp
Salt 1/4 tsp

Instructions
Make the streusel
Mix the flour, brown sugar, cold butter cubes, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl. Cut the butter into the mixture using a fork or pastry cutter until small crumbs form. Chill the streusel while you make the cookie dough.
Prepare the cookie dough
Beat the softened butter with the brown sugar and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla and mix again. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt, then add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring just until everything comes together.
Add the blueberries
Fold in the fresh blueberries gently so they keep their shape.
Shape & swirl
Drop rounded scoops of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Add a small swirl of blueberry jam to the top of each cookie using a toothpick or knife.
Top with streusel
Generously scatter the chilled streusel over each cookie and press lightly so it sticks.
Bake
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 12–15 minutes, until the edges turn golden but the centers stay soft.
Cool & enjoy
Let the cookies cool completely before serving. They’re especially delicious warm, paired with a cold glass of milk or your favorite hot drink.
