Dry Ranch seasoning mix 1 packet
Dry brown gravy mix 1 packet
Water 1 cup

Instructions

Step 1: Season the Roast
Generously season the chuck roast with salt and black pepper on all sides. Place the roast directly into the slow cooker.

Step 2: Mix the Gravy
In a small bowl, whisk together the Italian seasoning mix, Ranch seasoning mix, and brown gravy mix with the water until smooth and well blended.

Step 3: Combine and Add Vegetables (Optional)
Pour the seasoning mixture evenly over the roast. If desired, add baby potatoes, carrots, or onions around the meat.

Step 4: Slow Cook
Cover and cook on High for 4 hours, or switch to Low for 8 hours if you prefer extra tenderness.

Step 5: Baste and Shred
During cooking, spoon some of the juices over the roast if possible. Once the meat is fork-tender, shred it or slice it as preferred.

Step 6: Serve
Make sure any added vegetables are fully cooked. Serve the roast hot with plenty of the rich three-envelope gravy spooned over the top.
