Ingredients

Ingredient Quantity
Chicken thighs, boneless & skinless 2 pounds
All-purpose flour 1 cup
Salt 1 tsp
Black pepper 1 tsp
Garlic powder 1 tsp
Onion powder 1 tsp
Paprika 1/2 tsp
Baking powder 1/2 tsp
Eggs 2 large
Milk 1/4 cup
Honey 1/2 cup
Soy sauce 1/4 cup
Garlic, minced 3 cloves
Vegetable oil 1 tbsp
Sesame seeds (optional) 1 tbsp
Green onions, chopped (optional) —

Instructions
Set your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper so the chicken doesn’t stick.
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and baking powder until everything is well blended.
In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs and milk until smooth.
Dip each chicken thigh into the egg mixture, then coat it thoroughly in the seasoned flour. Arrange the pieces on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the coating is crisp and turns a deep golden color.
While the chicken bakes, make the sauce. In a small saucepan, mix together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and vegetable oil. Warm over medium heat until it begins to simmer, letting it cook for about 5 minutes so the flavors come together.
When the chicken is done, remove it from the oven and spoon the honey garlic sauce over each piece. Add sesame seeds if you like.
Return the chicken to the oven for 5–10 more minutes so the sauce thickens and caramelizes slightly.
Let the chicken rest a few minutes before serving, and top with green onions for a fresh finish if desired.

Notes
For an extra-crispy crust, mix a handful of panko into the flour coating.
Chicken breasts work too — just adjust the baking time to avoid overcooking.
