Ground Beef Casserole
Ingredients:

Ingredient Quantity
Ground beef 1 lb
White onion, diced 1 large
Egg noodles 1 package (8 oz)
Tomato sauce 2 cans (15 oz each)
Garlic salt 1 teaspoon
Salt 1 teaspoon
White sugar 1 teaspoon
Sour cream 1 cup
Cream cheese 1 package (3 oz)
Shredded sharp Cheddar cheese ½ cup (or more)

How to Make Ground Beef Casserole:
Cook the Beef: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the ground beef until crumbly, then drain off any grease. Stir in the garlic salt, salt, sugar, and tomato sauce. Let it simmer on low for about 20 minutes, then remove from heat and cover.
Cook the Noodles: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook egg noodles according to package directions until al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process.
Prep Oven & Dish: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish with nonstick spray.
Make Creamy Mixture: In a bowl, mix together the diced onion, sour cream, and cream cheese until smooth.
Layer the Casserole: Spread half the noodles in the bottom of the dish. Top with half the sour cream mixture, then half the beef mixture. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
Bake: Sprinkle the top with shredded cheddar cheese. Bake uncovered for about 25 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbling.
Serve: Remove from oven and let it cool slightly before serving. Each bite is rich, creamy, and full of flavor.
