Slow Cooker Baked Broccoli and Cheese Casserole

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Lightly grease the inside of your slow cooker with butter or non-stick spray.
  2. Add the broccoli florets to the slow cooker.
  3. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir in milk, heavy cream, and garlic powder, heating until just warm.
  4. Add the shredded cheddar cheese, stirring until fully melted and smooth.
  5. Pour the cheese sauce over the broccoli and stir to coat evenly.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours, until the broccoli is tender.
  7. Preheat your oven’s broiler.
  8. Transfer the broccoli and cheese mixture to an oven-safe dish. Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs over the top.
  9. Broil for 3-5 minutes, until the top is golden brown and crispy.
  10. Garnish with chopped parsley and green onions before serving.
