Quick & Creamy Asiago Chicken Delight

Ingredients

Ingredient Quantity
Boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs) 4
Olive oil 2 tbsp
Butter 1 tbsp
Paprika 1 tsp
Garlic powder 1 tsp
Salt and black pepper To taste
Garlic, minced 3 cloves
Chicken broth 1 cup
Heavy cream 1 cup
Asiago cheese, freshly grated 1 cup
Italian seasoning ½ tsp
Fresh parsley, chopped (plus extra for garnish) 1 tbsp

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken:
Pat the chicken dry with paper towels. Season both sides with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and sear for 5–6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and fully cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F / 74°C). Transfer the chicken to a plate and cover to keep warm.

Make the Creamy Asiago Sauce:
Using the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds, just until fragrant. Pour in the chicken broth, scraping up any flavorful browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Stir in the heavy cream and Italian seasoning, bringing the sauce to a gentle simmer. Let it cook for 3–4 minutes until it thickens slightly. Add the grated Asiago cheese and stir until the sauce becomes smooth and velvety. Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon the sauce over each piece, and let everything simmer together for another 2 minutes.

Serve:
Finish with a sprinkle of chopped parsley. Serve hot with pasta, rice, or roasted vegetables to soak up every bit of that creamy, cheesy sauce.

This dish is quick to make but tastes like something you’d order at a cozy Italian bistro—rich, creamy, and irresistibly comforting.
