Ritz Cracker Party Sandwiches

Ingredients

Ingredient Quantity
Ritz crackers 48
Deli ham 8 slices
Swiss cheese 8 slices
Butter, melted 4 tablespoons
Dijon mustard 2 teaspoons
Worcestershire sauce 1 teaspoon
Garlic powder ½ teaspoon
Poppy seeds 1 teaspoon
Dried minced onion ½ teaspoon

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the Oven
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.

Step 2: Prepare the Ham and Cheese
Cut the ham and Swiss cheese slices into quarters so they fit neatly on the crackers. You should have 24 small pieces of each.

Step 3: Assemble the Sandwiches
Arrange 24 Ritz crackers on the prepared baking sheet. Top each cracker with a piece of ham and a piece of Swiss cheese. Place the remaining 24 crackers on top to form small sandwiches.

Step 4: Make the Butter Mixture
In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, poppy seeds, and dried minced onion until well combined.

Step 5: Brush the Sandwiches
Use a pastry brush to generously coat the tops of the cracker sandwiches with the butter mixture, making sure each one is evenly covered.

Step 6: Bake
Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the crackers turn lightly golden.

Step 7: Serve
Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute before serving. Enjoy them warm for the best flavor and texture.

Ham Variation: Ham can be swapped for turkey, roast beef, or another deli meat.
Make Ahead: The sandwiches can be assembled in advance, refrigerated, and baked just before serving for easy entertaining.
