Roasted Parmesan Creamed Onions
Ingredients:

Ingredient Quantity
Large sweet onions, peeled and sliced 4
Extra virgin olive oil 3 tablespoons
Heavy cream 1 cup
White wine ¼ cup
Grated Parmesan cheese ¼ cup
Salt and pepper To taste

Instructions:
Preheat Oven & Prep Onions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the peeled and sliced onions into a parchment-lined baking dish, keeping the rings together. Drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and toss lightly.

Make the Cream Sauce:
In a small saucepan, combine the heavy cream and white wine. Heat gently until the mixture begins to simmer at the edges, then remove from heat and set aside.

Roast the Onions:
Roast the onions in the oven for about 20 minutes, or until they’re soft and lightly golden.

Combine & Finish Baking:
Carefully pour the cream sauce over the roasted onions and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Cover the dish tightly with foil and bake for another 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes so the onions can caramelize and the cheese turns beautifully golden.

Serve:
Take the dish out of the oven and serve hot for the ultimate indulgent side.
