Ingredients
| Ingredient | Quantity |
|---|---|
| Salmon fillets (6 ounces each) | 4 |
| Unsalted butter | 1/4 cup |
| Brown sugar | 1/4 cup |
| Honey | 2 tablespoons |
| Dijon mustard | 2 tablespoons |
| Garlic powder | 1 teaspoon |
| Onion powder | 1 teaspoon |
| Smoked paprika | 1/2 teaspoon |
| Salt and pepper | To taste |
| Fresh lemon wedges | For serving |
| Chopped fresh parsley (optional) | For garnish |
Instructions
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Stir in brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for 2–3 minutes until everything is combined and slightly thickened, then remove from heat. Pat the salmon fillets dry and season both sides with salt and pepper. Place the salmon skin-side down on a piece of aluminum foil and brush the buttery glaze generously over each fillet. Carefully transfer the foil to the grill and close the lid. Cook for 10–12 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork, brushing extra glaze over the fillets during the last few minutes. Remove from the grill, let rest for a few minutes, and serve with lemon wedges and chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
For a subtle smoky flavor, add wood chips to the grill while cooking. Swap honey with maple syrup for a slightly different sweet twist.
