Slow Cooker Classic Beef and Vegetable Stew

Carrots, peeled and cut into chunks 4 large
Potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks 4 large
Celery, sliced 2 stalks
Bay leaves 2
Frozen peas 1 cup

Directions:

  1. Prepare the beef. Season the beef cubes with salt and pepper.
  2. Brown the meat. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and brown the beef in batches. Transfer browned beef to the slow cooker.
  3. Cook the aromatics. In the same skillet, sauté the onion and garlic until softened. Add to the slow cooker.
